Queen Elizabeth II is being laid to rest with a ceremony for the ages at Westminster Abbey tonight. Dignitaries including Prime Minister Anthony Albanese have made the trip to London to honour a woman who personified grace and humility.
The 96-year old monarch died peacefully on September 8 at Balmoral Castle. A national period of mourning that followed has seen her coffin travel across the United Kingdom with throngs pouring out across the route to share their respect for our longest-reigning Queen.
For NSW, VIC, QLD, ACT and Tasmania the funeral will start at 8pm, for NT and SA the coverage will begin at 7:30pm. In WA, viewers can tune in from 6pm. You can find how to watch here.
From 5pm AEST tonight, stay with us as ACM pays tribute to a Queen who has left an indelible legacy of self-sacrifice and public duty across generations.
